You’ll pay a monthly fee for the terminal rental, as well as an authorisation fee (acquirer charge) and merchant service charge, which covers transaction fees.
The processing charges will depend on the types of card payments you take, for example, debit cards usually have a different transaction fee to credit cards.
If you don’t meet the agreed monthly fee, you will be charged a minimum monthly service charge instead.
You will also need to pay PCI DSS compliance fees to make sure you’re PCI DSS compliant.
