Migration Road Map

From first contact we can be operational with an E-Voucher solution inside 6 weeks and where a direct interface to the operator host is required the lead-times can be as short as 8 to 10 weeks (depending on requirements).

In designing your roll-out programmes, we help answer some key questions:

E-Voucher (PIN-Printing) or Direct top-up (Swipe or MSISDN entry)?
We know the mix of solutions that will achieve the fastest migration and the ones that whilst they may prove slower to begin bring with them unique advantages.

Retail vs. online vs. street vendor?
Our channel approach is holistic and we blend from a variety of approaches to deliver a “best-fit” strategy for your particular market.    Successful migrations require that you activate all potential channel routes.  We can deliver solutions for each of these under a single agreement.

How to manage the change within the existing distribution channel and channel partners?
This is a critical component of the migration strategy.  We can help achieve a more streamlined structure for your distribution channel, making it more efficient.

Piloting the system

Once you’ve made the decision to move forward with electronic top-up, we help you with an initial pilot roll-out.  Payzone will deliver an agreed number of pre-configured point of sale terminals and a provisional license to enable you to prove the system ahead of a national roll-out.

Typically these pilot terminals are installed in retail outlets under your control.

The pilot terminals are configured to your specific requirements and have full functionality for E-Voucher (Direct top-up is developed post pilot if required).  In addition, we will also provide you with:

  • full documentation and user manuals
  • comprehensive training
  • access to online sales and stock reporting
  • technical advice and helpline support
  • assistance with your post-pilot evaluation

Piloting a direct top-up system involves interface work between Payzone and the operator’s host system and this would need to be completed ahead of any direct top-up pilot.
