Fields Sales Executives – General Retail

Overview…
An opportunity has arisen for successful Field Sales Executives, to join our expanding national sales team specialising in MasterCard and VISA card acceptance for Small and Medium enterprises (SME’s).

Payzone is the only current UK card acceptance provider offering small to medium businesses the opportunity to transact using ‘contactless’, broadband enabled, technology at low rental prices that are capped for the duration of the contract.

You will work individually, and as part of a team, to drive exceptional growth in 2011. Responsible for recruiting profitable new business, in your own area, assigned by postcode, you will report directly to your Regional Sales Manager.

Role Objective…
To cold call, generate sales leads and close sales within a specified sales territory. The job holder is expected to achieve a minimum number of sales per week by professionally selling the Payzone Card Acceptance service and other related products to independent retailers in predetermined market sectors.

Key Objectives…

  • To visit 51 new business per day within the general retail market eg hairdressers, car dealerships, clothing stores etc
  • To generate 15 appointments per week within your territory
  • To achieve a minimum of five card acceptance terminal sales per week
  • To complete all related paperwork and activity records

Personal Specification…

  • Proven sales experience within a direct sales field based role, ideally selling into retail businesses
  • Able to provide evidence of a successful sales track  record
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Tenacious, can do attitude
  • Keen for new experiences, responsibility and accountability
  • Driving licence (ideally clean)
  • Acceptable CRB and credit rating to meet FSA regulatory requirements.

Benefits Package…

  • Basic salary of £20-25k. London weighting of £1,500; (London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Kent, Middlesex, Surrey and Sussex)
  • Car Allowance of £3K, with fuel / travel expenses paid fortnightly
  • Uncapped commission OTE £40,000 per annum
