How do I pay my EDF bill?

Gas & Electricity top-ups

You can pay your EDF bill at a Payzone or Post Office store, via direct debit directly through EDF, payments over the phone or online or by post. In addition, you can top up your non-smart electric keys and cards over the counter at one of 24,000 Post Offices or Payzone stores.

Prepayment Meter Top-Up

To top up your prepayment meter, take your EDF energy card to a Payzone or Post Office store. You can top up your card by cash, debit or credit card or cheque.

Direct Debit

You can pay your EDF energy bill with a direct debit that automatically comes out of your bank account every month. This is called a “Regular Payment Amount” and is an estimate of how much energy you will use over the year, divided into 12 equal payments.
Or alternatively, you can make payments over the counter at one of 24,000 Post Offices or Payzone retailers.

Telephone Payments

To pay your EDF energy bill by phone, call the EDF automated payment service on 0333 2000 5108. They accept all MasterCard and Visa Cards.

Online Payments

You can pay your EDF energy bill online via the EDF app, the EDF website or your personal internet banking app.

To pay your bill via the app, download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and follow the account setup instructions. You can make instant payments, submit meter readings, set up reminders and more

To pay your bill via the EDF website, access the account login area here. The secure, web-based payment service will take your online payment.

To pay your bill via your personal internet banking app, make a bank transfer to EDF using their Sort Code: 40-05-30 and Account Number 13845095 and quoting your EDF Energy Account Number.

Postal Payments 

To pay your EDF energy bill by post, make cheques, banker's drafts, building society cheques or postal orders payable to EDF Energy Customers Ltd and write your EDF Energy contract account number on the back.
